Description
As Australia’s leading residential steel frame supplier, Aus Steel has seen considerable growth and success over the last few years due to their unrivalled industry experience and drive to always challenge the way we build. Due to this success, the company is seeking a Senior Detailer to start ASAP.
Reporting to the Design Manager and relevant Team Leader, you will be training and mentoring a small team of junior peers. Your knowledge and experience in a previous role as a Detailer will see you excel in this role.

About the role

$80-90,000 PA + Super (Depending on experience)

ASAP start
Key Responsibilities
-
Detail complex lowest and highest standalone and multi-unit projects.
-
Attend frequent detailers meetings and remain up to date with current processes and standards.

Provide training and support to the team as required.

Checking of jobs of equal difficulty to current skill level and below.
The Requirements
-
Experience in frame and truss detailing (Steel or Timber)

Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new tasks and processes

University or TAFE training in residential drafting is a bonus
-
Excellent computer skills required with experience across the Microsoft suite are a bonus.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
